Elder T.E Oyakhilome his father was one of the founding members and the leaders of the Assemblies for Jesus Christ Church in Benin City. His son, Pastor Chris was an absolute source of inspiration for his father. Growing in an Christian family is an incredible great blessing.

It is easy to understand the joy his father was feeling when his son spoke the Gospel message about Jesus Christ as our Savior. His father’s legacy must have had a tremendous influence on young Chris Oyakhilome. He was just nine when he began his first crusade.

The commandment to honor your parents is a promise that Chris Oyakhilome has delivered on. Pastor Chris is a faithful Christian who has honoured his father through the leadership of prayer groups at his college and preaching sermons to millions of people.

Katty Worghiren is Pastor Chris her sister and director of the LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry. Katty Worghiren began her career as a stellar part of the chorus. She is an accomplished songwriter and has written some of the most iconic LoveWorld songs. She also wrote the national anthem “I Believe in Nigeria”.

Two Outstanding Daughters

Pastor Chris and his wife Anita have two amazing daughters through their marriage. He and his former wife Anita may have chosen to end their union, nevertheless, they love their beautiful daughters Carissa Sharon and Charlene extremely. Both of them currently reside in London.

Pastor Chris’s daughter Sharon has become a rising gospel superstar. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s Nephew Daysman Oyakhilome Woghiren is one of Africa’s most likely leaders. He utilizes his expertise to encourage young people to be motivated by God’s Word. He is an accomplished businessman and the director of Carel Films Enterprise. His goal is to share the Good News by using modern communication techniques. He is responsible for the production of more than 100 Christian music videos and animated films, including “I Know Who I Am” by Sinach, “Kinging” by Rozey, “Igbunu” by Micheal Jaffe, “Untouchable” by TB1, amongst many others.

He was just 20 when he won the American Academy of Animations Award for the third time. He also was a recipient of the Walt Disney Award and nominated for the Future African Leaders Award FALA. His real talent lies in the ability to shine the spotlight on the genius of others.

In the family of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are an integral aspect of their lives and achievements. It is clear that they are very involved in the work of God. In the words of the Man of God, these family members are:
